DY Suharya (42) was "escape" overseas because his mother felt very annoying. His mother named Tien Suhertini it suddenly gets angry, even accusing people around stealing stuff at home.
Women who familiarly called DY is finally working and studying in the United States for 10 years and over 5 years in Australia. Until finally diagnosed with Alzheimer's mother, DY went home to Indonesia.
DY pique turns to her mother because of ignorance against Alzheimer's disease. Change her behavior is a symptom of Alzheimer's. Eventually, Alzheimer's disease makes the mother does not remember her husband and children. DY and family eventually take care of the mother with great affection.
Story DY and his mother was outlined in the book "When the mother forget" written by DY himself and his friend, Dian Purnomo. "There was no peace in the house. If you know there is Alzheimer's, my mother dwell time in the room should I take the way out. To a place to interact," said DY at the launch of his book at Kinokuniya Book Stores, Jakarta, Monday (22 / 12/2014).
This book tells how compact DY family finally treating the mother with great affection. 196 pages thick book also tells some people are struggling to care for people with Alzheimer's.
Alzheimer's commonly found in older people aged 65 years and over. The disease is lethal nerve cells in the brain that makes sufferers become senile until no longer able to perform daily activities.
Through this book, DY want to invite more people to care about the Alzheimer's. DY and Dian also hope that this book will give encouragement to those who are assisting people with Alzheimer's.
This book was launched to coincide with Mother's Day. DY mother of 80-year-old was also present at the book launch. "This book is the most beautiful gift for my mother. Thank you, mama," said DY.
